IT’S EASY TO REGISTER TO VOTE

It takes less than 5 minutes.  If you need to register to vote, moved addresses, or would like to update your information, you can register to vote using the Coconino County Elections, Service Arizona, or Arizona Secretary of State websites.

All voters in Flagstaff’s Primary and General Elections must be registered City of Flagstaff voters.  This means that you must physically reside within corporate city limits and that your voter registration reflects such residence.

Arizona Revised Statutes requires that residents be registered to vote at least 29 days before an election.  February 8, 2010 is the deadline to register for the March 09, 2010 Primary Election. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ALL VOTE BY MAIL ELECTION

This entire election process in the City of Flagstaff is an all postal mail election. Your ballot will be mailed to your home the at the beginning of February.  It is due back on the final election day, March 9, 2010, for the Primary Election.

You do not need to request a ballot. You will automatically receive your ballot in the mail approximately 26 days prior to both the Primary and the General Elections.  Because ballots for each election will be mailed to you at the earliest possible date allowed by law, all early voting requirements will have been met.  Consequently, there is also no need to request an early ballot.

Return your ballot today by mail or in person. In addition to mailing your ballot back to the Elections Office, voters may hand deliver ballots to the Coconino County Elections Office, 110 East Cherry, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, throughout the balloting period, or during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on March 9, 2010 Primary Election Day.  If you choose to mail your ballot, remember that your ballots must be in the possession of the Coconino County Elections Department by 7:00 p.m. on March 9, 2010.
