Early Ballots & Permanent Early Voting Available Thurs, Apr 22

The Coconino County Elections office reminds registered voters that Thursday, April 22 is the first day early ballots will be available for the May 18, 2010 consolidated election.

To request an early mailed ballot, voters may call the Elections Office at (928) 679-7860, or toll-free (800) 793-6181; send a written request to Coconino County Elections Office, 110 E. Cherry Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ, 86001; or submit an on-line request at www.coconino.az.gov/elections and click on “Early Ballot Request.”

Voters also have the option of registering on the Permanent Early Voter (PEV) list. If a voter chooses to participate in this program, an early voting ballot for every election in which they are eligible to vote will be sent to the voter without having to request an early ballot for each election. To review the PEV requirements. CLICK HERE to download form.  ALL REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING.

Voters may also vote early at one of the following satellite locations around the County. Early voting is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).

  • Coconino County Elections, 110 E. Cherry Avenue, Flagstaff
  • Page City Hall, 697 Vista Avenue

The May 18 election is being conducted with consolidated voting precincts. Voters who choose to vote at their polling place are reminded to check their polling place location in the informational pamphlet they will receive in the mail. With consolidated voting precincts, some polling places may be different than the ones used in the 2008 elections.

By law, precincts with 200 or fewer registered voters may conduct an all mail ballot election. Therefore, voters residing in the Forest Lakes, Havasupai, Kiva, Winona, Meteor Crater and Glen Canyon precincts will receive a mailed ballot.
